High-Performance Epoxy Cove Base

CHEM-COVE™ is a three-component, 100% solids epoxy cove base system designed to form a seamless, sanitary and impact-resistant transition between floors and walls. Combining CHEM100™ V4.0 resin and hardener with a powder component, it creates a dense, non-slumping, trowelable mortar for professional installations.

Kit Contents

Part A: 680 mL resin; Part B: 340 mL hardener; Part C: 10 kg powder. Mix Parts A and B 2:1 by volume, then gradually incorporate Part C as instructed in the TDS.

Approximate Coverage

At 4 in (100 mm) cove height: approximately 20–30 linear ft (6–9 m) per kit, depending on radius, thickness and installation technique.

Application Notes

Priming is mandatory. Prepare a clean, sound, dry substrate and prime using CHEM100™ V4.0 or a CHEMTEC-approved primer within its recoat window. Porous gypsum may require two coats. Shape using a stainless cove trowel. Consult the current approved TDS and SDS before installation.

Technical Overview

Application temperature: 18–32°C. Pot life: 15–20 minutes at 21°C. Light foot traffic: 24 hours; full cure: 48–72 hours at 24°C and 50% RH. Values depend on site conditions.
